In February 2017, Clyde, an independent, adventurous Australian with a desire to take on the world, decided to leave his beloved land to travel indefinitely through Europe. He bought a van and called it home. When he had been on the road for eleven months, he visited beautiful Barcelona. His idea was to spend three days in Barcelona, but it was there where he met Bonnie and she made him fall madly in love... "with the city."

 

Clyde's plan was to spend one year in Europe and another in South America, but you know that sometimes love ruins all plans... Or does it improve them?

 

Bonnie, a happy, enthusiastic and carefree woman from Barcelona, kidnapped him from her small apartment in the center of the city and he was left without setting foot in South America.

 

They both always knew that they would not have a Disney love story (who live happily ever after and eat... whatever they want to eat!) since one day or another Clyde would have to return home. And that was precisely what Bonnie was most excited about… knowing that she would live a love story that was as intense as it was ephemeral.

 

To celebrate the end of a beautiful adventure and after a year of tousled sheets, nights of stars, wine, candles and confidences, they decided to go see the beautiful Sri Lanka and relax for a few days in the crystalline waters of the Maldives Islands. Why cry if they could travel the world?

On March 18, 2019, the sky over Barcelona turned dark gray. Clyde left and it was the hardest goodbye that both of them would experience in their lives. He left not only leaving a huge void in Bonnie's bed. They would not see each other again. Without expecting it, neither of them kept in touch weekly and eight months later, each caring for the opposite side of the world, they decided to do again what fulfilled them most... go discover it together.

 

It was in the Philippines where they hugged each other again and just when they were on the Enchanted Island, Siquijor, this project was born to be able, in some way, to immortalize their love story and at the same time to be part of more stories with a happy ending.
